Application
MOTOR MAGNET RFQ GUIDE
To recommend the appropriate magnet material, grade and manufacturing solution, please provide your motor application, technical drawing, operating conditions, required quantity and target delivery date. Our engineering team will evaluate your requirements and provide a customized solution.
What Information Is Required for a Motor Magnet Quotation?
Please provide your company name, business email, country, motor type, application, magnet shape, dimensions, estimated quantity and target delivery date. Uploading a 2D or 3D drawing will help us evaluate the project and prepare an accurate quotation more efficiently.
Can You Manufacture Custom Motor Magnets from Drawings or Samples?
Yes. We manufacture custom arc segment magnets, ring magnets, block magnets, rotor magnet assemblies and segmented magnet assemblies based on customer drawings, samples or motor performance requirements. Please provide dimensions, tolerances, material grade, coating and magnetization details whenever available.
How Do I Select the Appropriate Magnet Grade and Coating?
Please tell us the maximum operating temperature, motor speed, working environment, corrosion risk and required magnetic performance. Based on these conditions, our engineers can recommend an appropriate NdFeB grade, such as standard, high-temperature or high-coercivity material, together with a suitable protective coating.
What Technical Parameters Should Be Included in the Drawing?
The drawing should preferably include magnet shape, dimensions, dimensional tolerances, material grade, coating, magnetization direction, pole configuration, magnetic performance requirements and assembly position. For high-speed rotors, please also provide the maximum rotational speed and relevant mechanical requirements.
What Are the MOQ, Prototype and Production Lead Time?
MOQ and lead time depend on the magnet shape, material grade, tooling requirements, coating, magnetization and assembly complexity. Please provide your prototype quantity, estimated annual demand and target production date. We will confirm the sample plan, mass-production MOQ and delivery schedule after an engineering review.
